Can we split by room size?
Yes. Set custom percentages for the household and every expense uses them. The rent split by room calculator works out a fair share from square footage.
Does everyone in the house need the app?
Everyone joins the household by email and a private code, with a free account. The web app runs in any browser with nothing to install, and the apps are on the App Store and Google Play.
Can one expense be split differently?
Yes. The house ratio is the default, and any single expense can be overridden. You can also add a person to one expense without adding them to the whole house.
What happens when someone moves out?
Settle what is still open between them and the house, and their lines stay in the record. Closing out shared costs when a housemate moves out walks through it.
How many people can share a household?
A household can start with up to five people and add two more from settings later.
