For couples

Share a life. Keep your own money.

Plenty of couples keep separate accounts on purpose. Have Another Cherry splits the costs of the life you share by a ratio agreed together, keeps every expense visible, and settles up without a joint account.

Fair isn't always half

When two incomes differ, an even split takes a bigger bite out of the smaller one, quietly, every month. The app starts from a ratio instead.

A ratio you agree on together

By income, by custom percentages, or a set amount each. Agree it once and every shared cost uses it. The income split calculator turns what everyone earns into a share.

Every expense stays its own line

Nothing is rolled into one number. When someone pays, that payment clears the specific things it covered, and it is clear what is still open.

Credit and cash aren't the same, and the app knows it

How something was paid is saved with the expense. Carrying a cost on a card is visible as what it is.

A light monthly check-in, instead of a hard conversation

With the ledger itemized, a short look once a month replaces the big talk. How to run a monthly money check-in.

Three things, then it runs itself

Setup is a one-time conversation, not a monthly chore. After that the app is somewhere you glance, not somewhere you work.

  1. Start a household and invite themOne group, one private code. Everyone joins by email in about a minute.
  2. Agree on the ratio onceSet the share each person carries. You can still override any single expense when it makes sense to.
  3. Log it, settle it, forget itPhotograph a receipt or type it in. When someone pays another person back, the app records which items that money closed.

Your ledger is nobody else's business

The ledger is encrypted. We keep your email address and nothing else. Nothing is sold or shared, and there are no ads in the ledger.

Questions people ask

Do we need a joint account?

No. Everyone keeps their own accounts. The app keeps the shared ledger, and paying someone back happens with whatever you already use, like Venmo or Zelle, then gets recorded.

Is it fair when incomes are different?

That is the point of the ratio. Set it by income, or by anything else you both accept, and every expense follows it. How to split expenses fairly when incomes are different.

What if one person pays for most things?

Each payment clears the specific expenses it covered, so it is always clear what is still open and who is carrying it. Settle up records which items a repayment closed.

Is our ledger private?

Ledger data is encrypted. Only your email address is retained. Nothing is sold or shared, and there are no ads in the ledger. The Privacy & Security page has the full detail.

Can I start before the other person joins?

Yes. On your own works too. Start the household, log what you like, and send the invite whenever you are ready.
