For families
One roof, several wallets.
Adult kids at home, a parent moving in, siblings sharing a house, a blended family: the costs are shared and the money isn't. Have Another Cherry keeps each shared cost as its own line, so everyone can see what they're carrying and why.
Some costs are for everyone. Some are for some.
A family's expenses don't split the same way every time. The app is built for that.
A ratio that fits the family
Agree on the share each person carries, by income or by anything the family accepts. It applies to every shared cost from then on.
Add a person to one expense, not to everything
Something that only involves some of the household can be split among just those people, without changing anyone else's share.
Every expense stays its own line
Nothing is rolled into one balance. Anyone can see which items a payment closed, which keeps the conversation about the thing, not about each other.
Caregiving and blended households, thought through
Splitting the cost of caring for an aging parent with siblings and splitting costs in a blended family cover the two situations we hear about most.
Three things, then it runs itself
Setup is a one-time conversation, not a monthly chore. After that the app is somewhere you glance, not somewhere you work.
- Start a household and invite themOne group, one private code. Everyone joins by email in about a minute.
- Agree on the ratio onceSet the share each person carries. You can still override any single expense when it makes sense to.
- Log it, settle it, forget itPhotograph a receipt or type it in. When someone pays another person back, the app records which items that money closed.

Questions people ask
Can some expenses include only some of us?
Yes. Add the people an expense involves and the split applies to them alone. Everything else keeps the household ratio.
How many people can be in the household?
A household can start with up to five people and add two more from settings later.
Who can have an account?
Anyone 13 or older can create an account and join the household with the private code.
Does anyone have to give up their own account?
No. Everyone keeps their own money. The app keeps the shared ledger, and paying someone back happens however you already do it, then gets recorded.
Is the ledger private?
Ledger data is encrypted. Only your email address is retained. Nothing is sold or shared, and there are no ads in the ledger. Full detail on the Privacy & Security page.
