Settle up calculator
Who owes whom, in one pass.
Type each person's share and what they actually paid. The calculator works out the fewest payments that make everyone even. Nothing you type leaves this page.
Shares are percentages and should add up to 100. Leave every share blank to split evenly. Paid is the total each person paid toward shared costs in the period.
This is the end-of-month answer. Have Another Cherry gives you the same answer every day, and shows which specific expenses each payment closed.
How it works
Add up everything that was paid. Multiply that total by each person's share to get what they should have carried. Anyone who paid more than their share is owed the difference; anyone who paid less owes it. The calculator then matches the biggest debt to the biggest credit until everyone is at zero, which is the smallest number of payments that settles the group.
A calculator like this has a limit: once you hand over the answer, nobody can see which costs it was made of. That is the part Have Another Cherry keeps. Every expense stays its own line, and a payment clears the specific items it covered. See how the ledger works, or set the ratio first with the income split calculator.
